David Christopher Guthrie is a Canadian actor born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada on May 20th.

 

David's first acting experience was at age 8 when he starred as the "White Knight" in his grade schools production of The Three Knights. But it wasn't until age 11 when David went to see the local high school's production of Anne of Green Gables that he fell in love with the art of acting. It was at that point that David knew he wanted to be an actor. Once David reached high school he immediately began auditioning for the school plays and starred in five shows throughout his years at school.

 

After David graduated he moved to Toronto to pursue his dream professionally. He began working on student and independent films immediately and secured representation.  David started his career by landing roles in productions such as; Mayday, Forensic Factor, Urban Legends and Ghostly Encounters.  David’s recent credits include Designated Survivor, The Umbrella Academy and Private Eyes. Also, keep your eyes peeled during the break as David can be seen in various commercials.
